Jack in a Box Nursery, Dover
Building a love of learning for life in a home from home for your child…
Someone to care for them, just as well as you would.
The Space
Our nursery in Dover offers both indoor and outdoor spaces, combining a calm, gentle, cosy and comfortable atmosphere, with free flow outdoor spaces, allowing for different social dynamics to emerge, as well as providing an opportunity for children to begin to love and care for their environment.
A Typical Day
Every day is different. We have a flexible approach where we respond to the interest of the child, and if you follow us on Facebook or Instagram, you will see what fun we have.
Forest School
We join Dover’s forest school reception class weekly where our children will spend time in a forest area with a trained Forest School Practitioner, this is all year round including rain and snow. This is a time when the children really begin to develop confidence to challenge themselves.
Welcome to our world
We understand that this is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever have to make. The development of your child during those early years is so important, and we really get that. Every day we explore new ways to expand your child’s experience, and learning, in a fun, curious and stimulating way.
Our nursery in Dover offers a friendly and homely environment. Expert trained staff will care for and nurture your child through their stimulating day with us.
When you leave your child at Jack in a Box Nursery, you can have complete piece of mind knowing your child is safe with loving, caring staff, that will treat your child as an individual.

Our Community
We are not here to teach you how to bring up your child – we want to reinforce what you do at home, so when you first arrive, our experienced team will take the time to discover your child’s routine; and how you settle your child.
